ACTIVE FXTM & DEEP FXTM
Active FXTM & Deep FXTM are laser procedures that use a high-energy beam of light to smooth out wrinkles and scars and tighten the skin. Benefits include a single treatment with minimal patient downtime.
Active FXTM & Deep FXTM Post-Op Care
Apply Aquaphor ointment or Vaseline to the treated area. Ensure the skin is covered with occlusive moisturizer at all times for the first 4 days after the procedure.
- Apply cool compresses or cool air to the treated area, if desired.
- After 24 hours, begin to gently wash your skin twice daily to help exfoliate. Gently pat dry and re-apply Aquaphor or Vaseline. Showering at this time is allowed. Avoid HOT water.
- Avoid picking or aggressive scrubbing of the exfoliating skin. Allow the skin to slough off naturally with the washing process.
- Avoid sun exposure for 7 days following treatment.
- After 7 days (or earlier if we advise), you may begin applying sunscreen to the treated area. We suggest sunscreen with the UVA protection of Mexoryl.
- Avoid topical or manual exfoliation for 4 weeks following the treatment. I.e.; Retin-A, Alpha Hydroxy products, Scrubs.
