Dr. Tracy Ngo

Tracy Ngo, MD, is a dermatologist dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care for patients of all ages. She specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, with clinical interests that include skin cancer detection and treatment, acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, pigment disorders, and aesthetic procedures.

Dr. Ngo earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she received the Dean’s Recognition Award and graduated with a Distinction in Research. She completed her preliminary internal medicine internship at Kaiser Permanente Oakland before pursuing her dermatology residency at UC Davis Medical Center, where she served as Cosmetic Chief Resident. In this leadership role, she organized resident training in cosmetic dermatology, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, laser treatments, chemical peels, and biostimulators. She also serves as a pool dermatologist for Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento, providing comprehensive dermatologic care and performing medical, surgical, and cosmetic procedures.

Passionate about advancing the field of dermatology, Dr. Ngo has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented her research at national dermatology conferences. Her work has focused on skin of color, inflammatory skin diseases, immunotherapy-related skin conditions, and COVID-19–associated dermatologic findings. She has received multiple honors recognizing her research and academic achievements throughout her training.

Dr. Ngo believes in partnering with her patients to develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize education, prevention, and natural-looking results. She is committed to helping every patient feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Ngo enjoys rock climbing, Pilates, painting, photography, cooking, and baking with her century-old sourdough starter, “Doughbert.” She is fluent in English and conversational in Vietnamese.
