SCLEROTHERAPY
This highly effective treatment for unwanted leg veins is performed by our skilled dermatologists. At The Menkes Clinic we use Sotradecol, the FDA-approved injectable solution, for all our sclerotherapy patients. Treatments are scheduled monthly, and typically consist of a series of four sessions. Each treatment lasts approximately 20 minutes and is performed in a relaxed and comfortable environment with minimal discomfort. We recommend that our patients wear support stockings for 2 weeks after each session until all treatments are complete, in order to achieve optimal results. Patients enjoy the cosmetic results of this treatment for years, sometimes requiring touch-up injections as needed.
